Abstract. Komala PS, Azhari RM, Hapsari FY, Edwin T, Ihsan Zulkarnaini, Harefa M. 2022. Comparison of bioconcentration factor heavy metals between endemic fish and aquacultured in Maninjau Lake, West Sumatra, Indonesia. Biodiversitas 23: 4026-4032. Fish have a high risk accumulating poses entering human bodies through the food chain. This study aims to analyze concentration lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd) spatially temporally as well Bioconcentration Factor (BCF) (Rasbora argyrotaenia) (Oreochromis niloticus) Lake its relationship environmental parameters (pH, DO temperature). Sampling was conducted at domestic, hydropower, cage, fisheries. Spatial temporal distribution using one-way ANOVA with 95% significance, while parameter correlation linear regression. Almost all both samples exceeded permissible level except fisheries sites. Metal concentrations species showed significant difference, no difference. Rasbora argyrotaenia slightly higher BCF value than O.niloticus. The values were low accumulative order Pb>Hg>Cd ??in R. Pb>Cd>Hg for O. niloticus. There is strong positive temperature three different metals. Monitoring by keeping metal content within acceptable limits necessary. Further research on analysis consumption humans recommended.

Heavy metals bioaccumulation in fish of southern Iran and risk assessment of fish consumption
Background: This study purposed to assess the health risks of heavy metals including nickel (Ni), chromium (Cr), mercury (Hg), and lead (Pb) in three widely-consumed fish from the coast of Bandar Abbas (Persian Gulf) and to determine the maximum amounts allowed for consumption according to the degree of contamination. Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted in the summer and fall of ...
متن کاملContamination profile of heavy metals in marine fish and shellfish
Rapid industrialization along with advanced agricultural activities led to the contamination in aquatic environment with heavy metals. Heavy metals ultimately pass into human body through having aquatic animals like fish, prawn and crab. In this study, accumulation of heavy metals (zinc, copper, iron, cadmium and lead) in various organs of four commonly consumed fish (Euthynnus affinis...

Cadmium, lead and mercury contents in fish were studied. Fresh and frozen fish from 17 FAO localities were bought in Czech markets. Atomic absorption spectrometry technique was used for determination of cadmium, lead and mercury concentration. Ten samples exceeded the maximum permissible limit for mercury (0.5 mg/kg or 1 mg/kg for selected fish species) and three fish samples exceeded the maxim...
متن کاملInvestigation of heavy metals accumulation in the sediment and body of carp fish in Aras River
Heavy metals are considered as the most dangerous water contaminants because of their possibility of bioaccumulation and toxic effects. This study tried to investigate the bio-availability of heavy metals in terms of Ni, Zn, Cu, Fe, Hg, Cd, and Pb in the sediment during dry seasons in Aras River basin located in Ardabil Province, north-west of Iran. Also the metal concentration in the skin and ...
